Tali Wigod PsyD
Dr. Tali Wigod is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York and New Jersey who specializes in providing evidence-based treatments to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She is committed to delivering high-quality, research-supported care that helps clients build meaningful and lasting change.
Dr. Wigod received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and economics from Barnard College at Columbia University and earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from LIU Post. She completed extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) across clinical settings including the NYU Child Study Center, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and Trinitas Regional Medical Center. She then completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Cognitive & Behavioral Consultants of Westchester and Manhattan (CBC), under Drs. Alec Miller and Lata McGinn. At CBC, Dr. Wigod was the research director and served as a school consultant and DBT trainer.
Dr. Wigod is a Linehan Board Certified DBT clinician (DBT-LBC) and specializes in delivering DBT across the lifespan. In addition to her expertise in DBT and CBT, she is trained in Prolonged Exposure (PE) therapy for PTSD. She is also a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist, supporting parents of young children in building strong, effective relationships.
Beyond individual therapy, Dr. Wigod enjoys working with parents, couples and families, and has received specialized training with Dr. Alan Fruzzetti in applying DBT principles to improve communication, reduce conflict, and strengthen relationships.
In 2024, Dr. Wigod founded Middle Path Psychology, where she provides in-person services in Bergen County, New Jersey, as well as telehealth. She helps clients build practical skills to manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and create lasting, meaningful change.
